Landable planets with biological signals that nobody has set foot on or mapped: first-footfall species pay 5×. "No footfall" needs the game's flag (from live EDDN scans) and no species ever logged there (checked against Spansh). Spansh's nightly dump adds bodies with unknown status.

Near you via Inara

Inara has no public search API, so these open Inara's own searches, pre-filled with your position.

Routes below are plotted by Spansh, © 2016–2026 Gareth Harper, a free community tool, through the same public API its own site uses, then drawn on this map. Every result links to the full route on Spansh. This site is not affiliated with Spansh. Spansh's feature requests and bugs go to its forum thread or plotter@spansh.co.uk; if it helps you, support it on Patreon.

Spansh picks bodies whose species someone already logged: reliable values, but probably footfalled. The radar marks what it knows about each body.

Systems by distinct commanders arriving in the last hour. A sudden newcomer up here is usually a new Community Goal or galaxy event.

Bodies scanned for the first time ever, with the payout the explorer gets if they also map it first.

Privacy

EDDN hashes every uploader; this site never shows, stores or links those IDs, so there are no per-commander trails or plotted routes.
Map events and first finds appear 5 minutes late: fine for watching the galaxy, useless for finding a ship.
A system is only named as busy, or given a commander count, with 3 or more commanders; hourly charts show completed hours only.
When someone scanned or sampled a body is rounded to the day.
Your position (search, map pick or EDSM name) stays in your browser; EDSM only answers for public profiles.
None of these delays and limits are required by EDDN, EDSM or Spansh: this site imposes them on itself to protect the commanders whose tools upload the data.

Data: EDDN (live, uploaded by players' EDMC/EDDiscovery/EDDI), EDSM (galaxy backdrop, commander positions), Spansh (routes, search, nightly bio dump; © 2016–2026 Gareth Harper · forum thread · plotter@spansh.co.uk · Patreon), Inara (search links). Ship data: EDCD coriolis-data (MIT). Map: PixiJS (MIT).
